Another American innovation I wish was in London.

One to add to the list of ammenities the USA has which I wish I had access to in London (this list currently stands at: Noah’s Bagels, Jamba Juice, Taquiera Cancun and microwaveable bacon) – Zipcar is a personality mobility innnovation reminiscent of some of the Ford blue sky work of a few years ago, or the work of Dan Sturges.

Has anyone in the States used Zipcar???

  1. Haven’t seen Zipcar, but there’s a similar service here in San Francisco called City CarShare that seems to be increasingly popular. They even have the same green Beetle as Zipcar.

  2. You do have that chain of sandwich shops in London that’s pretty good. Surely better than microwavable bacon. Though not better than Chango’s Tacos in Austin on Guadalupe st. That’s the amenity I miss most while I’m in Berlin this year.
