   I enjoyed your presentation on Friday. You mentioned at the end, amidst a few questions, that you’ve been researching the idea of “critical thresholds” recently. I’ve been reading a bit on self-organized criticality (SOC) in the work of Per Bak and Henrik Jensen. It sounds related to some of your ideas so I just thought I’d put it out there.

   by the way, I presented traffic_primer that day… nice notes you’ve posted, (and I was wondering what you were doing with the laptop). I’ll interpret some of your reflections on my presentation as an invitation to discuss things further.
