After being dormant for months, over the last three days I have had around 4 ‘connection requests’ a day from people using LinkedIn.
Why is this? A knock-on result of the MSFT social software shindig? Anyone else notice a social network El Niño?

Might be a micro-climate, or the butterfly outside my window.
Weird, same for me. I hadn’t looked at LinkedIn for months, but received 4 new requests in the last 24 hours.
It’s about adoption rates I would imagine.
At ETCON various folks mentioned that their previously dormant LinkedIn accounts had come back to life following the rise in attention around Orkut…
