…best educated, best prepared, best equipped troops refuse to fight. In fact it is safe to says they would rather swwwiiiitch… than fight…”*
Yup – I’ve gone over… traded in my ‘orrible grey tower work PC for a shiny OSX TiBook… Omnigraffle and Perlhackin’ here I come… yeah!!!
[*With profuse apologies to the late Dr. King, Chuck D. and the Bomb Squad.]
oh. yes. brushed titanium. so hardcore you can rip out the laptop lock and leave the case intact. that solid start-up sound, dexterity, strength, constitution, wisdom and intelligence (but curiously chaotic good): the paladin-turned-bad-boy of laptops.
Welcome to the other side! I dropped mine from 6′ onto marble – buggered the screen but everything else kept working – well ‘ard in all senses.
Location for tomorrow btw?
Welcome aboard. Now you can get some real work done like the rest of us. Like they say, once you have gone Titanium…
Welcome over from the dark side. You’ll never go back once you start up Darwin. Upsets the Suits when you walk in to a meeting.
Can you assist sourcing case mod to attach external Airport aerial? Aerial is in the lid & part shielded by the Ti case.

Congratulations, matt. The tibook is the sexiest piece of hardware I’ve ever owned. I’ve been bookmarking links to OS X resources since I started using the Beta. If you’re like me and run a lot of applications at once you might want to look at the various applications to speed up/optimize your system. The possibilities are much great now that we have a BSD based OS.
Oh, and the iPod is the second most used and sexy piece of hardware I’ve ever owned. Pure design brilliance, that thing.
I’m a jealous little pup. I had to leave mine at Intuit a month when I took off for grad school, and life hasn’t been the same. I still have a G4 tower, but I miss the brushed titanium on the skin…
Welcome Matt! I left the dark side 5 years ago and have never looked back! I use my G3 and G4 for recording music, designing web sites, “regular work” and just plain old fun! I love my Macs! I never felt that way about the boring beige “boxes”. Welcome to the Mac universe. Charles Ottavio/Animotion
