Heh. I always notice when folks physically overwrite the digital interface with messages or taped objects, such as pens on threads, or tubes to hold something. I remember them most from my days working in the lab, where Coke cans were shims and electronics were taped with all sorts of warnings and instructions.
Kinda speaks to the product maker missing a key usability feature.
